Routeability vs Gainsight
Close the gap between the sale and the renewal. Routeability runs pipeline, proposals and Customer Success on one record and one ARR ledger, with a price you can see today and AI agents a person approves.

Why teams choose Routeability
Every capability tied to the business outcome it delivers.
Customers renew for results, not features. When you can show which capabilities delivered which outcome, and what it was worth, the renewal is a value conversation, not a price one.
Each customer's business objectives carry a baseline, a target and a dollar value, linked to the product capabilities that deliver them. Telemetry from your product marks those capabilities adopted, or gone stale, automatically. Health, the adoption versus value gap and EBR prep packets all read from the same links.
Nothing gets lost between the sale and the renewal.
Every handoff between a CRM and a Customer Success tool can drop context, and dropped context is where renewals slip.
The prospect your AE qualifies is the customer your CSM renews. Accepting the proposal books the ARR and opens the subscription on the same record.
ARR your board can trust.
When ACV can be hand-edited, the numbers drift and GRR and NRR turn into arguments.
Every ARR change is a ledger movement. Nobody can hand-edit ACV, renewals are tracked per contract, and GRR and NRR come from one ledger.
AI that does the work. People who make the call.
Agents that act unchecked are a risk, and agents that just summarise save no time.
Renewal, expansion and EBR prep agents draft into one queue ranked by revenue at stake. A person approves, money and contracts are never autonomous, and every step is audited.
A price you can see today.
You can budget before a sales call, and on Scale adding a colleague never adds a seat bill.
Priced per workspace: Growth is $1,200 a month for up to 10 users, and Scale is $3,600 a month with unlimited users and AI agents included.

What changes when you choose Routeability over Gainsight
No CRM sync between the deal and the renewal.
Why it matters: Every handoff between a CRM and a Customer Success tool can drop context, and dropped context is where renewals slip.
The prospect your AE qualifies is the customer your CSM renews, and accepting the proposal books the ARR and opens the subscription on the same record. Gainsight CS runs beside your CRM and syncs with it, and its Renewal Center imports the Salesforce Opportunity object through field mappings.
One ARR ledger, no hand-edited ACV.
Why it matters: When ACV can be hand-edited, the numbers drift and GRR and NRR become arguments instead of answers.
Every ARR change is a ledger movement, and nobody can hand-edit ACV. Renewals are tracked per contract, fixed-term and monthly subscriptions sit in one book, and GRR and NRR come from that same ledger.
Know the price before the sales call.
Why it matters: You can build the budget case today, and on Scale adding a colleague never adds a seat bill.
Growth is $1,200 a month for up to 10 users and Scale is $3,600 a month with unlimited users, lower on 6- and 12-month terms. Gainsight's CS plans say Request Pricing, with 10 full users on Essentials and 20 on Enterprise, plus unlimited viewers.
AI that does the work. People make the call.
Why it matters: Agents that act unchecked put revenue and contracts at risk, and agents that just summarise save no time.
Renewal, expansion and EBR prep agents read the record the deal was won on and draft into one Triage queue ranked by revenue at stake. A person approves, money and contracts are never autonomous, raising a level needs MFA, and every step is audited.
AI agents in the plan, not on the invoice.
Why it matters: When AI is billed by credit or by seat, every new use of it turns into a budget conversation.
Agents come with Scale, Enterprise and every trial, with no credits or per-seat AI fees and a monthly AI budget that caps spend. On Scale, agents cover up to 100 accounts. Gainsight sells Atlas on outcome-based contracts with no published prices.
Your sales team works in the same system.
Why it matters: When forecasting lives apart from renewals, new business and retention get reported from two versions of the truth.
MEDDPICC stage gates, forecast categories and forecast accuracy, quota and coverage, and opportunity splits are built in, with Teams and nestable Territories on Scale and Enterprise.
Find the revenue leak, then fix it here.
Why it matters: A diagnosis is most useful when the fix runs on the same platform that found the leak.
Our services start from a Revenue Diagnostic of your lifecycle, and the same diagnostic runs in the app, with the headline free in every workspace. Gainsight's Professional Services focus on onboarding, training and consulting for Gainsight products.
What Gainsight is
Gainsight is a Customer Success platform. Its CS product runs beside your CRM. It connects to Salesforce in both directions and has connectors for HubSpot and Microsoft Dynamics 365. It also sells product analytics (PX), customer communities, Skilljar training, AI agents and a managed renewal service called Atlas.
What it costs
Routeability publishes its prices per workspace. Growth is $1,200 a month, $1,100 on a 6-month term or $1,000 on a 12-month term, for up to 10 users. Scale is $3,600, $3,300 or $3,000 a month on the same terms, with unlimited users and AI agents for up to 100 customers. Enterprise is priced on request.
Gainsight's pricing page shows no prices. CS Essentials and Enterprise both say Request Pricing. Essentials includes 10 full users and 100 customers per user. Enterprise includes 20 full users and 200 customers per user. Both have unlimited viewer licences. Atlas is sold on outcome-based contracts with no published prices.
AI agents and who approves
Routeability's agents read the same record and ARR ledger the deal was won on. They draft renewal and retention, expansion and EBR prep work into one Triage queue, ranked by revenue at stake. An autonomy ladder runs from Off through Draft and approve, Act with a hold, and Act and report, to Autonomous within limits, with a ceiling the platform sets for each action. Renewal, expansion and prep plays are capped at Draft and approve. The two exceptions are the EBR meeting request and the Digital-tier renewal email, which can go out after a hold. Raising a level needs MFA, and every approval, edit and level change is audited. Agents come with Scale, Enterprise and every trial. AI Assist and AI enrichment are on every plan.
Its May 2026 releases name Staircase Risk and Expansion Analysts, a Handoff Analyst, and MCP access for Claude, ChatGPT and Copilot. Atlas pairs renewal agents with Renewal Agent Managers, with guardrails that govern autonomous behaviour, approvals and escalations. Its CS plans include AI Insights and Automations.
Security and certifications
Postgres row-level security isolates each workspace, including file storage. Routeability staff access is restricted to operating and supporting the platform. Standard, Financial and Administrator roles are enforced in the database. SAML SSO with JIT provisioning is on every paid plan, and MFA is required for password sign-ins once a trial converts. There is a field-level audit log, workspace snapshots, and GDPR export and erasure. It is built to SOC 2 and ISO 27001 controls.
Gainsight's trust center lists SOC 2 Type 2, ISO/IEC 27001:2022, HIPAA, GDPR and CCPA, with a SOC 2 report and a pentest report available. Its AI security page says AI features are off by default and that it runs human reviews and regular audits of its AI models.
Services and help
Routeability offers in-house Customer Success services that start from a Revenue Diagnostic of your lifecycle. The same diagnostic runs in the app: the headline is free in every workspace, and the full version comes with Scale, Enterprise and every trial.
Gainsight Professional Services is its in-house consulting group. It covers onboarding for CS, PX and Digital Hub, end-user and admin training, and post-live consulting. Gainsight also lists service partners in its marketplace and runs Atlas, a managed renewal service.
Routeability is the right fit if
- You want pipeline, proposals, onboarding, health, renewals and expansion on one record, with no CRM sync in the middle.
- You need GRR and NRR you can trace to one ARR ledger, with no hand-edited ACV and renewals tracked per contract.
- You want AI agents that draft the work while a person approves, included on Scale and Enterprise with no credits or per-seat AI fees.
- You need a price you can put in the budget today, per workspace rather than per seat.
- You run several businesses or portfolio companies and want separate workspaces under one account with a Portfolio rollup (Enterprise, or as an add-on).
- You want to find where your revenue leaks and run the fix on the same platform.
